Today I want to share with you a real estate photo of an expensive home taken by a lazy real estate agent. Then I want to show a video on how I fix these real estate photos.

This is the photo before it’s fixed with the magic clone tool. You can see many things wrong with it.

Real Estate Photo After It’s Fixed

Here you can watch the video on how I use the free software to fix bad real estate photos.

Fixing Real Estate Photos

By the way: The free software I use rivals Adobe Photoshop and it will save you more than $500 (R4000).

You don’t need the software if you plan your real estate photos better by:

  • Remove all clutter before you take a photo.
  • Go the location on the best time of the day.
  • Use freely available software like Picasa to enhance and crop your photos.
  • Cropping is critical as you only want to add the greatest part.
  • Decide what you want to show before your take the photo.
  • If a photo doesn’t add any value don’t use it.
  • Ensure that you have enough light.
  • Use a tripod.
  • If all else fails then pay a professional to take photos of an expensive home.
