  • You’ll take the number and make an appointment.
  • There are other options as well.

Let’s change the ad because the holistic healer has an online newsletter:

FREE Report Tells You All About How Healing Crystals Can Restore Imbalances In The Mind, Body And Spirit” Visit MindBodySpirit.Com or Phone xxx xxxxx xxx Today.

Note: As soon as people, interested in the free report, subscribe to the online newsletter they get the FREE report. Therefore the holistic healer has exchanged valuable information for a potential clients contact info.

When you see this ad you may react as follows:

  • You know what a holistic healer is, you don’t need one today but you want the free report.
  • You don’t know what a holistic healer and you are interested therefore the free report may tell you.
  • You have imbalances but you are not sure how a holistic healer can help and you therefore want the free report.
  • You know it all and you want to make an appointment and you cannot resist the free report.
  • You are not interested at all.

The first advertisement is an example of the “kiss on the first date” and you’ll get very few people who will react.

The second advertisement allows many more people the opportunity to come to know, like and trust you when they subscribe to your newsletter in order to get the free report.

One of the cardinal sins, business owners commit, is to spend money to get people to use their service or product only once.

The example above shows you why you need to integrate the your advertising and contact list with an online newsletter.
