How To Add A Forum To Your Real Estate Blog
Feb 27th, 2008 by Johan
How do you add a forum to your real estate blog is simple if you have a blog site at iLocals.Info This is dedicated wordpress based blog tool for real estate agents and it’s free.
Because I am also a real estate agent I need to look at my needs and as soon as I find an answer I implement it on my blog and on the iLocals.Info.
Although you should consider a forum for your blog I urge you to search for the pros and cons of managing and populating a real estate forum (or rather a community forum on your real estate blog).
You’ll start from Base ZERO. There’ll be no visitors and no comments. You’ll have to seed the forum with ideas and you need to send family and friends and readers to your forum to start posting. It’s a slow and painful process.
Therefore concentrate on your blog; write compelling articles and get more traffic. You also need a long list of subscribers to your blog before you consider the work involved with a real estate community forum.
In order to use the forum you need to go to your iLocals.Info blog and activate the Simple Forum plugin. This is a great and simple plugin for wordpress. In order to use the Simple Forum plugin for your blog I suggest you read all the training material you can find here. The Support forum is also a great place to get answers.

Johan
P.S. If you run your own real estate blog using wordpress then I recommend you download and use the Simple Forum plugin.
